It really takes a great deal of dedication and effort to get into shape. The mental and physical benefits are completely worth it! There really is no magic pill or potion to get you a ripped or toned body as you lounged on the couch. We may all wish that there was and many companies want to sell us that very idea, but alas it is false.
Although there isn’t some magic to get us fit, there are definitely tools out there to assist in speeding up the process. These are the affordable at home workout tools and equipment that will help you speed up those results and really push yourself into the healthy life you always wanted!
There are really two kinds of resistance bands that come to mind, and honestly both are terrific!
This first one seems more towards simulating free weights to get that full body extra push, especially for the arms. This package as varying weights so that you can start low and up the weight as you progress, or use different weight levels to change up your reps. These work fantastic for my husband and I since we can use the same equipment and just switch out the resistance levels.

I adore my kettlebell and am constantly on the look out for more workout routines to utilize it in! The handle enables a greater range of movement and mine comes in a pretty purple color, which is a definite plus in my book. Not all kettlebells have the versatility as the bands in terms of variety of weight levels in such small packages. However, if you know what weight level you prefer to work with then its completely worth the investment. Oh, just put in the larger investment and get this kettlebell that has varying weights!

A yoga mat is a great stand-by for pretty much any form of exercise. It creates a more comfortable barrier between your body and the hard floor. I would recommend going with a extra thick yoga mat to give it even more cushion. Most yoga mats will also come with a carrying strap that make storing and moving the mat more convenient. If you want to push yourself farther in yoga, pilates, or just deeper stretching feel free to purchase some extra accessories like yoga blocks or straps.

You do not need all these pieces of equipment to get to the level of fitness that you want. Find out where you want to focus your fitness journey and start there for your first few fitness items! It may be with a yoga mat and blocks, or higher level free weights.
