Want to keep a budget? Need to save money or want to tuck some away for an emergency fun?
You can write lists on paper of monthly expenses, attempt to keep all those darn receipts, and try to keep track of all the money that seemed to so easily drain out of the bank account. But let’s be honest here, we all tend to fail at this. The lists can tucked away, the receipts got lost, and you can’t remember what you bought a few days ago let alone at the beginning of the month. So when help is needed turn to trusty technology
for assistance. I mean, come on, they have an app for everything! These apps will whip your budget into shape and save you more money!
is my top favorite budget app since it is straight to the point and effective at keeping a budget. You do have to put in the debits and credits from the monthly budget manually, however that means you do not have to link it directly to any credit card or bank account which is a definite plus for my paranoid side. The app automatically transitions so your monthly budget on to the next month, so you do not have to repeat the process month after month. Less work, always a plus. This is the top budget app for individuals that do not want to directly link anything to a bank account or credit card.
#2. Dollarbird-DB Classic
another manual input app, just as Everydollar.
This means that there is no need link any bank account or credit card. This app enables the debits and credits to be represented in calendar format for easy day-to-day tracking. The categories for purchases are great for tracking purchases and noticing areas where you need to budget more effectively.
#3. Mint Budgeting App
does link directly to your bank account, however it seems completely worth it! You can manage debits & credits, pay bills, track budget limits, watch recent transactions, and even show your current credit score! I honestly am starting to get past that bit of paranoia and want to download this app at this very moment.
